- 1 Tablespoon Poppy Seeds Soaked
- 1 Cup Almonds
- 5 Tablespoon Sugar
- ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Green Cardamom
- 4 Tablespoon Melon Seeds Dried
- ½ Cup Water
- 1 Cup Ice Cube
First of all, add poppy seeds and soaked almonds in a clay pot and grind them well (you can use mortar and pestle for this purpose).
Put the Almond (Sardai) mixture (which is already prepared), ice cubes and 2 cups of water in a grinder, then grind well.
Take a muslin cloth & keep it in a bowl, then pour the blended mixture (which we have prepared in the previous step).
Pick up this cloth from the top and squeeze it until all the liquid mixture comes out.
Then add sugar, whole black peppers, green cardamoms, and dried melon seeds and grind again Add ½ cup water and mix well by adding water again.
- Add this squeezed mixture into a glass, then complete the topping with the help of crushed almonds.
- Your traditional Sardai is ready to serve.
